TELUS Marina is a 26,000 sq. ft. waterfront redevelopment currently under construction by TELUS’ Real Estate Group, situated on a remarkable 1,578‑acre site along the Sechelt Inlet. The project is envisioned as a memorable, nature‑rooted destination that welcomes the local community, destination travelers, and TELUS’ business partners and clients. Designed around sweeping inlet views, the open‑air marina will bring together waterfront dining, social and hospitality event spaces, and a curated collection of overnight stay suites.

As construction progresses, the project continues to transform an underused industrial site in East Porpoise Bay into an inspiring West Coast landmark. Its architectural expression is defined by a mass timber structure, natural stone detailing, and a cedar shingle exterior; materials chosen to reflect the rugged beauty of the shoreline. Inside, the design draws from the surrounding coastal forest to create warm, inviting interior spaces that feel deeply connected to the landscape.

The redevelopment also includes extensive site and environmental improvements. The project team is restoring a naturalized foreshore along the entire inlet frontage and extending the public waterfront path to strengthen community access. A comprehensive landscape plan is being implemented, focused on stewarding existing mature trees, introducing new plantings, and enhancing the ecological health of the shoreline. Improvements to the renovated private boat launch and pedestrian‑friendly parking aim to create seamless circulation while maintaining a light environmental footprint.

When complete in the first half of 2026, TELUS Marina will stand as a revitalized waterfront destination; celebrating West Coast design, environmental stewardship, and community connection.
