Stratford Hall - Primary Years Program

This project entailed a new, free-standing annex to the existing Stratford Hall School that incorporates learning spaces for grades K-5, a gymnasium and a rooftop play space and garden.

Omicron was asked to accommodate a large program located on a comparatively small site. We achieved this by creating a dense, vertical stacking of the program. The gymnasium is located below grade and an outdoor play space is located on the roof. The need to consolidate such a large amount of program on a constrained site led to a solution that one might more commonly find in densely planned cities such as New York or London.
