Since 2020, Omicron has served as a long-term renewal partnerto Kwantlen Polytechnic University, delivering integrated professional servicesacross multiple campuses to modernize and extend the life of existingfacilities. Our work supports KPU’s capital renewal objectives by addressingaccessibility, code compliance, sustainability, and functional upgrades withinactive academic environments.

Omicron’s renewal program includes interior renovations such as the Finance Office fit‑out at the Langley Campus and multiple School of Business office renewals, where evolving space needs were addressed within existing structural constraints. At the Richmond Campus, we delivered phased washroom renewals and accessibility upgrades, including work at the Wilson School of Design to support Rick Hansen Foundation Gold certification.

We have also completed specialized academic upgrades, including the Langley Nursing Training Centre renovation and the Richmond Cloud Lab conversion, transforming underutilized space into functional teaching environments. Across projects such as the Fir and Birch Building washroom renewals, Omicron has focused on improving inclusivity, modernizing building systems, and aligning with sustainability goals. Through consistent project management, phased delivery, and integrated design and engineering services, Omicron helps KPU maintain high-performing, accessible facilities while minimizing disruption to campus operations.
