Island Health at Allandale District

Omicron provided interior design services for Island Health’s clinic at Allandale Lot B, creating functional and welcoming spaces for mental health and substance use services. As the base building architect and engineers of record, Omicron also coordinated the removal of demising walls and managed structural and electrical modifications during the base building phase to support the tenant’s requirements.

The interior design focused on balancing clinical functionality with comfort. Public areas include consultation rooms, clinician offices, an exam room, a point-of-care testing room, a meeting room, and a community gathering space. Staff areas feature an open office with workstations, private offices, a break room, and washroom/shower facilities; designed to promote efficiency and well-being.

The project was delivered in collaboration with Canpro Construction Ltd. as the contractor, e2 Engineering for electrical design, and Avalon Mechanical Consultants Ltd. for mechanical systems.
