Fifty-Five 55 Dunbar consisted of a new 33-home, 4-storey, concrete and wood-framed building with commercial uses at grade and residential uses above. The development is located in the desirable Southlands neighbourhood on Vancouver's West Side in close proximity to some of the best schools in the Lower Mainland.

Unique features of the development included an interior courtyard area, large patio spaces and an exterior brick facade facing the street. The courtyard scheme allowed for increased liveability by providing natural light to two ends of every home in the development and improves air quality by allowing cross ventilation within the building
