Fairwinds Landing

Nestled along the picturesque shoreline of Nanoose Bay, Fairwinds Landing is a two-story waterfront retreat that has been thoughtfully reimagined. Tasked with revitalizing an unoccupied office shell space, our team transformed it into an extension of the boutique hotel experience while introducing a dedicated real estate discovery center.

The project focused on creating six beautifully appointed, one-bedroom oceanfront suites, each designed to provide guests with an unforgettable coastal escape. One suite was thoughtfully designed to meet accessibility standards, ensuring an inclusive experience for all visitors. To enhance the guest experience, we upgraded the existing corridor, refining both its aesthetic appeal and functionality to align with modern hospitality standards. Additionally, all hotel suites were outfitted with new air conditioning systems, improving year-round comfort and energy efficiency.

A key element of the renovation involved reconfiguring the building’s exterior façade to incorporate expansive glazing and upgraded exterior door systems, seamlessly framing breathtaking ocean views from every suite. These architectural enhancements were carefully crafted to complement the existing structure, ensuring a harmonious integration with the building’s original character.

At the heart of this transformation is the Discovery Center, a dynamic 1,000 sq. ft. space designed to introduce visitors to Fairwinds’ future real estate development. This inviting hub features two private offices, a reception area, back-of-house support, and a spacious open-concept gathering area for marketing presentations and community engagement. Inspired by the surrounding marina, the design team created a striking curved wood and marble feature wall, echoing the graceful contours of the boats docked nearby.

Through thoughtful design and meticulous execution, this project has revitalized an underutilized space, seamlessly blending hospitality with real estate discovery to create a truly exceptional coastal experience.
