Coastal Ford (Burnaby)
Omicron was engaged to deliver a new facility for Coastal Ford at its existing site on Lougheed Highway in Burnaby, BC. The project included a 20,000 sq.ft. service shop and parts storage area, a 4,700 sq.ft. service drop-off zone, and a 15,000 sq.ft. sales and administration space. Construction was completed in four phases over a one-year period.
The service shop, parts storage, and drop-off areas were built using 24-ft-high tilt-up concrete wall panels and featured 17 standard repair stalls, two detailing bays, one large truck bay, an alignment bay, and a fully automated car wash. The service drop-off area accommodated up to eight vehicles.
The sales and administration area was constructed with a 24-ft-high curtain wall system, creating a bright, open showroom with a full-height ceiling. The main floor included sales and support offices, parts merchandising, a café, and a children’s play area, while the second floor housed boardrooms, training spaces, and administrative offices overlooking the showroom.
