Omicron’s environmental efforts recognized for transparency

VANCOUVER, BC—Omicron is being recognized for its commitment to environmental transparency and sustainability by Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the global non-profit that operates the world’s only independent disclosure system.

This acknowledgment highlights Omicron’s strong performance in Specialized Professional Services. At its core, CDP focuses on how organizations operate day to day, for example, whether company vehicles run on gas or electricity, or whether buildings are heated using fossil fuels or electric systems.

By following the GHG Protocol framework, we are managing our carbon emissions by tracking and being aware of the impact our operations have on the environment. It places our company among nearly 20,000 organizations scored in 2025 and more than 22,100 that reported during the same year.

CDP applies a rigorous and independent methodology to evaluate disclosure of quality, risk awareness, environmental management, and evidence of best practice.

“Designing high performance buildings is an impactful part of our business but we can’t lose sight of how we operate. We need to practice what we preach by measuring our operation’s impact and setting tangible targets to reduce emissions. Transparency through CDP helps us track our progress and push for meaningful change.” Newton Wong, Sustainable Design Leader
