Omicron is excited to announce that Kevin Hanvey, MAIBC, Principal and Director of Sustainability, has been short listed for the Western Living 2010 “Designer of the Year” Awards in the “Eco/Green” and the “Furniture” categories.
Kevin’s submission focused on three key items of furniture featured in Omicron’s Vancouver office: the old growth boardroom table in our main meeting room, a display table crafted from mountain pine beetle wood and the FSC-wood reception table with glass and living bamboo accents. For a more detailed overview of each piece within Kevin’s submission, please click here.
As Canada's largest regional magazine, Western Living invites readers to stretch their imaginations about living in the West: the magazine shares what intrigues, surprises and thrills them about people, places, homes, gardens, food and adventure from Winnipeg to Victoria and everywhere in-between. The annual Western Living “Designer of the Year” Awards celebrates the talents of individuals in the areas of interior design, architecture, furniture, industrial, fashion and jewellery, eco/green and landscape.
We congratulate Kevin on this achievement and look forward to the outcome of the Awards program in September.
