Omicron is very pleased to announce that we have been selected as a Regional Finalist in the annual “Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies” program.
Established in 1993, the program is the country’s leading business awards program, recognizing excellence in Canadian-owned and -managed companies. Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices. Sponsors of the program are Deloitte, CIBC Commercial Banking, Queens School of Business and the National Post.
The regional awards were presented in early November at a cocktail function in Vancouver. This regional level recognition is the culmination of an extensive submission process undertaken by members of Omicron’s management team over the past 11 weeks. The next step is the national platform where regional finalists are assessed and audited by a new panel of judges. 50 companies will be awarded the highest honour in the program in March 2010.
