Omicron is currently working with Bentall Real Estate Services LP to revitalize one of Arthur Erickson’s urban masterpieces, the Evergreen Building, located on West Pender Street in downtown Vancouver.

This heritage restoration and rehabilitation project comprises a $9 million private investment and when finished in June 2007 will provide 100,000 sq.ft. of Class A, commercial office space with unobstructed views of Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and the North Shore mountains.
The project represents a significant leap of faith in the value of the building, and considering its condition and architectural language, a significant progression in the Real Estate sector’s understanding and appreciation of the legacy value of mid to late 20th Century Architecture.
The scope of the project includes:
• envelope and balcony remediation and upgrade
• new plant material
• base building systems upgrade
• office interiors upgrade
• lobby revitalization
• typical multi-tenant lobbies and washroom upgrades
• urban design enhancements
Omicron is providing Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design and Construction Management services for the project. Consultants to the project include Donald Luxton and Associates (Heritage Architect); Cornelia Oberlander (Landscape Architect) and Arthur Erickson (Consulting Architect).
