Omicron appoints three new principals

April 2, 2007

Omicron is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Norman, Kevin Hanvey and Andy Kohler as Principals and owners of the firm.

Eric Norman, MAIBC, LEED® AP, relocated from Detroit, Michigan, to join Omicron as Director of Retail Design in October 2005. Eric has a rich background in Architecture and business operations, with over 28 years of domestic and international experience on a wide variety of building types within the retail, institutional, hospitality and light industrial sectors.   

Kevin Hanvey
, MAIBC, LEED® AP, joined Omicron in 2001 in the role of Project Architect. With 17 years of institutional and commercial architectural experience to date, Kevin has proven to be a talented and versatile architect and project leader. Kevin is also a strong proponent and leader of sustainable design in our community and is a mentor to many of his fellow staff members. Kevin is actively involved in the Vancouver Branch of Cascadia Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council and is the past Chair of the Branch.   

Andy Kohler joined Omicron in 2000 as a Project Manager and Cost Estimator. With over 20 years of experience in project management, cost estimating and scheduling, Andy has been responsible for a wide variety of Omicron’s projects and has been instrumental in securing and managing key client accounts in the Retail sector. Andy has also enjoyed great success in the Construction services sector where he has been key in starting and growing Omicron’s Construction Program.

The owners and staff at Omicron are extremely excited about Eric, Kevin and Andy taking on these new roles and look forward to their contributions to the continued growth and success of the company.
