With over 25 years of public and private real estate industry experience, Norm works with our senior management group to develop Omicron’s business in the institutional and public-private markets. Norm’s specialty is in defining potential projects at the front-end through understanding and articulating client needs, stakeholder issues and preparing the business case that allows senior executives to approve the funding and development of the project.
His experience ranges from institutional (healthcare, fire stations, RCMP detachments, court houses, government offices) to industrial, commercial and retail projects with a particular strength in mixed-use, multiple stakeholder projects. Norm is a strong advocate of smart building design utilizing the principles of sustainability to maximize the life-cycle of a project.
Away from the office, Norm enjoys sharing activities with his wife and two children. He is passionate about cross country skiing (he is President of the Hollyburn Jackrabbit Ski Club) and coaching youth sport including soccer, field hockey and flat water kayaking. Summer vacations always include exploring our beautiful coast by kayak and camping.
